Formaggio Kitchen


Stopped into one of my favorite spots, the Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, on my way home today.  I love how it feels like a quaint European market and every time I go in there, new treats await. Today, I got some of my beloved roasted fava beans with chile and salt, castelvetrano olives, fiddleheads, a loaf of ciabatta, green almonds and a mint sandwich cookie.  Have you ever tried green almonds?  They are a bit crazy but oddly beautiful.  Read more about them here.  The cookie was from the Lakota Bakery and ofcourse it was a showstealer, and ofcourse I ate it so quickly that I didn't even pause to photograph it!
